How it works

  1. Drop your screenshot on the preview, paste it with Ctrl+V (⌘V on a Mac), or click “Choose a screenshot”. Until you do, the preview shows a sample.
  2. Pick where you’ll post it: X, LinkedIn, square or story. Then pick a frame (browser window or phone) and a background. The preview updates as you click.
  3. Fine-tune the space around it, the rounded corners and the shadow, and add a caption if you like. Then click “Download PNG”, or “Copy image” and paste it straight into your post.

Questions

Is my screenshot uploaded?

No. The picture is drawn in your browser. Your screenshot never leaves your computer.

What sizes do the presets make?

X: 1920×1080 (16:9). LinkedIn: 1200×627 (1.91:1). Square: 1080×1080. Story: 1080×1920 (9:16) for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn stories. “Fit” makes the picture just big enough for your screenshot plus the space around it.

Why doesn’t “Copy image” work in my browser?

Copying pictures needs a recent Chrome, Edge or Safari, and Firefox 127 or newer. If it fails, use “Download PNG” and attach the file to your post.

My screenshot looks blurry. How do I fix that?

Take the screenshot at full size. On a Mac, ⌘⇧4 gives a sharp, double-size picture. Very small screenshots get stretched to fill the frame, which softens them. A smaller padding or the “Fit” size helps too.

Can I use it for a phone app?

Yes. Pick “Phone” as the frame and “Story” or “Square” as the size. Tall screenshots from your phone look best there.
