How it works
- Pick what your app shows: Users, Products, Orders or Blog posts. The preview fills with realistic rows right away.
- Choose how many rows you need, from 10 to 1000. Click Edit fields to rename, add or remove fields, like a phone number or a city.
- Download it as JSON, CSV, SQL or a TypeScript seed file. Or copy the prompt and paste it into Claude Code, Cursor or Codex so your agent adds the data to your project.
Questions
Is any of this real data?
No. Every name, email and address is made up from built-in word lists. Emails use example.com and similar addresses that can never reach a real inbox, and phone numbers use the 555-01xx range kept for fiction.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. The data is made in your browser. The only things loaded from elsewhere are the preview pictures: avatars from DiceBear and photos from Picsum, which are also the links inside your data.
How do I get it into Supabase?
Pick SQL, copy it, and paste it into the SQL editor in your Supabase dashboard, then click Run. It creates the table if it doesn’t exist and inserts every row. You can also save it as supabase/seed.sql so it loads every time you reset your local database.
Why do I get the same rows every time?
So your screenshots and tests stay the same while you work. Click New random data for a fresh set.
Do the fields go together?
Yes. In each row the email matches the name, the country matches the city, and a product’s name fits its category. Emails and usernames never repeat.
Can I use it for my tests?
Yes. The TypeScript seed file gives you a typed list you can import into tests or Storybook. JSON works for mock API responses.
