How it works

  1. Paste your page’s public address, for example your home page or a launch post.
  2. We read the share tags the page gives to apps (Open Graph and Twitter tags) and draw how the link looks on X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Slack.
  3. If something is missing, copy the tags we suggest into your page’s <head>, or hand them to your AI coding agent. Deploy, then check again.

Questions

What are Open Graph tags?

Small lines in your page’s <head>, like og:title and og:image, that tell apps what title, text and picture to show when someone shares your link.

What size should my share image be?

1200×630 pixels works everywhere. Keep important text away from the edges, because some apps crop the image.

I fixed my tags but the old preview still shows. Why?

Apps keep previews for a while. Our checker keeps results for an hour. LinkedIn and X update when the link is shared again, and you can refresh LinkedIn’s copy with its Post Inspector.

Can I check a page on localhost?

No. Apps can’t see your computer either, so only public addresses work. Deploy first, even to a preview address, then check that.

Do you store the pages I check?

We keep the tags we read for up to an hour so repeat checks are fast. We don’t keep a list of who checked what.
